  Kırım Tatar Şiirinde 1944 Sürgünü’nün İzleri

  1944 yılının 18 Mayıs’ında gerçekleştirilen toplu sürgün, Kırım Tatar Türklerinin sadece vatanını değil; ailesini, evini, toprağını, dilini, edebiyatını, tarihini ve kültürünü de elinden almış, binlerce insanın hayatını kaybetmesine yol açmıştır. Hayvan vagonlarına bindirilerek insanlık dışı muamelelere maruz bırakılan Kırım Tatar Türkleri, ana yurtlarından koparılmış ve onlarca yıl süren sürgün hayatının tüm zorluklarını yaşamak zorunda bırakılmıştır. Bu zulme tanık olan Kırım Tatar Türkleri yaklaşık yarım asır boyunca vatanlarına dönememiştir. Kırım Tatar aydınlarının bu süreçte vatan ve sürgün gibi toplumsal temaları işleyen yazılar ve şiirler yayımlamaları engellenmiştir. Kırım Tatar şairlerinin yüreklerinde biriken vatan özlemi, vatan sevgisi ve 1944 Sürgünü’nün yarattığı derin etkiler, ancak yirminci yüzyılın sonlarına doğru edebî metinlerde görünür hâle gelebilmiştir. Özellikle 1944 Sürgünü’nü konu alan şiirler, bu sürgünün Kırım Tatar Türklerinin zihninde yarattığı etkinin ve edebî sahaya ne şekilde yansıdığının ortaya çıkarılması açısından önemlidir. Bu çalışmada, 1944 Sürgünü’nü konu edinen Kırım Tatar şairlerinin şiirleri bir araya getirilmiştir. Söz konusu şiirlerden seçilen belli bölümler hem anlam yönüyle tahlil edilmiş hem de sürgünün Kırım Tatar Türkçesi üzerindeki izleri dil yönü esas alınarak incelenmiştir.

  Supporting Preschool Children’s Self-Regulation Skills with Dialogic Book Reading

  The study examined the effect of a professional development program concerning dialogic book reading (DBR) on preschool children’s self-regulation skills. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with pretests and posttests. Fourteen preschool teachers and 206 children participated in the study. The DBR intervention was tailored to self-regulation by selecting books addressing self-regulation skills and employing DBR strategies focused on self-regulation, making DBR the primary active ingredient influencing children’s self-regulation outcomes. The program was implemented through training sessions and classroom observation, utilizing coaching and scaffolding techniques. Children in the DBR-focused group showed significant gains in self-regulation, whereas no improvements were observed in the group using the same books with traditional reading and in the business-as-usual control group. Research Findings: The study showed that children’s self-regulation skills are unlikely to improve without DBR. Significant improvements were observed in attention and impulse-control skills. By supporting teachers’ understanding and implementation of DBR strategies, the professional development program contributed to improvements in children’s self-regulation abilities. Practice or Policy: These findings highlight the need for integrating DBR coaching into routine teacher training, as equipping teachers with interactive reading strategies–rather than simply providing self-regulation-themed books–may support more consistent promotion of children’s self-regulation in preschool classrooms.

  Technology in Fictional Children’s Books; [Kurgusal Nitelikli Çocuk Kitaplarında Teknoloji]

  The study was carried out to determine the positive and negative elements of technology in fictional children’s books. Document analysis design was used in the study. The study analyzed eight children books, taking into account criteria such as expert opinion, content, topicality and suitability for the child. After the documents used in the study were obtained, the relevant data were subjected to descriptive analysis on the focus of “positive views regarding technological devices” and “negative views regarding technological devices”. The study results revealed a significant number of views regarding positive and negative technology. However, the study also concluded that the existence of negative views was more common in the books. It was also argued that the positive views regarding the technological devices in children’s books are considered to facilitate life, contribute to personal development and offer to have a good time, while the negative views stand out as emotional distress, psychological harm and physical damage.

  A Bird’s Eye View of Migration: Ömür Kurt’s Yaban Ördeği Ailesinin Göç Yolculuğu – The Migration of the Wild Duck Family –and Ecocritical Perspectives of the Turkish Refugee Crisis

  In the past eight years, some Turkish authors have sought to depict the global refugee crisis in ways that might educate and develop the empathy of young people. Most of these books feature child characters who make perilous journeys to Türkiye, struggle with daily life in refugee camps, and cope with homesickness and alienation. However, Ömür Kurt’s children’s book Yaban Ördeği Ailesinin Göç Yolculuğu offers an original approach to the representation of migration by featuring animal characters. Here, a family of migratory ducks are separated from their flock and face many obstacles as they journey from the northern forests to the south. The book draws on the perspective of the child duck, Paytak, to depict the fear and loss experienced by human child refugees who must leave the only home they’ve ever known. In this article, we argue that Kurt uses the protagonist’s literal bird’s-eye view to address the relationship between the refugee crisis and a larger global climate crisis. The world as Paytak views it from the air does not have borders; moreover, he perceives humans not according to their national or ethnic identities but rather as members of an increasingly imperiled animal species. Additionally, Paytak’s bird’s-eye view allows him to see the connection between human-created ecological devastation – dried lakes and rivers, pollution, and unchecked development – and the waves of human refugees fleeing violence and limited resources. Thus, we argue, this children’s book offers a crucial ecocritical perspective on the refugee crisis in Türkiye and beyond. Ultimately, we argue that this text – produced in a country that not only bridges two continents but whose imperiled wetlands also tenuously sustain the ecosystems of Europe, Asia, and Africa – exemplifies a critical connection connection between the twin global crises of human migration and climate catastrophe.

  Yeşil gözlü kardan adam'ın anlatım teknikleri açısından incelenmesi

  Bir metinde ele alınan konuyu öykülemeye yarayan anlatım teknikleri; anlatının çok katmanlı, çok anlamlı ve çağrışım değeri açısından zengin bir yapıya dönüşmesine katkı sağlar. Bu sayede de anlatıdan özgün bir öykü ortaya çıkar. Çocukların gelişim seviyeleri de dikkate alınarak yazılan özgün öykü kitapları yoluyla kendisini kurmaca bir dünyanın içinde bulan çocuk okuyucunun merak duygusu harekete geçer. Bu durum, çocuk okuyucuların düşünme becerileri ile yaratıcılıklarının gelişmesini sağlar. Çalışmada Tacettin Şimşek’in Yeşil Gözlü Kardan Adam adlı kitabında yer alan öyküler, anlatım teknikleri açısından incelenmiştir. Öykülerde kullanılan anlatım teknikleri doküman analizi yoluyla incelenmiştir. İnceleme sonunda söz konusu kitapta özellikle göstermeye dayalı günümüz öykü tekniklerinin kullanıldığı, bu teknikler sayesinde öğrencilerin dil ve düşünme becerilerinin gelişimine katkı sunan, yaratıcılıklarını besleyen özgün öykü örneklerinin ortaya konulduğu görülmektedir. Çalışma sonunda kitapta yer alan öykülerden ilk ve ortaokul öğrencilerine yönelik hazırlanan Türkçe kitaplarında ve yaratıcı yazma dersine yönelik hazırlanan ders kitaplarında yararlanılması önerilmektedir.

  Wise characters as role models in Turkish children’s literature

  In moments when opposites such as good and bad or right and wrong make life complicated, we need the presence of wise individuals to help resolve conflicts. Therefore, in this study, we aim to identify the appearances of wise characters in children’s books. We examine books written for children by various authors, initially focusing on wise characters and Albert Bandura’s social learning theory while applying descriptive analysis. We then deepen the understanding of portrayals of wisdom according to the gender, age, appearance, and problem-solving methods of the characters. As a result, we see that there are wise characters in the works we examine who can guide child readers with their actions and discourses, and we find that these characters are presented in the examined books with rich perspectives.

  Çocuk kitaplarında akran zorbalığı

  Çalışma kurgusal nitelikli çocuk kitaplarında akran zorbalığına ilişkingörünümleri ve görünümlerin çözümüne ilişkin sunulan alternatifleri tespitetmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılacak dokümanlar için öncelikle, alan uzmanlarının yardımıylabir liste hazırlanmış, sonrasında bu liste çocuğa uygunluk, güncellik ve çalışma konusuna uygun içerik ölçütleri göz önünde bulundurularak daraltılmıştır.Çalışmaya konu olan dokümanlar temin edildikten sonra öncelikle herhangi birkayıt tutulmadan okunmuştur. Daha sonra “akran zorbalığı” odağında incelenmiş, bir başka deyişle betimsel analize tabi tutulmuştur. Elde edilen veri seti,NVİVO 11 Nitel Veri Analiz Programıyla incelenmiş, veriler “zorbalık şekilleri”,‘’kurbanlar’’, ‘’zorba tipler’’ ve “çözüm şekilleri” başlıkları altında derinleştirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak kurgusal nitelikli çocuk kitaplarında en fazla karşılaşılanzorbalık tipinin sözel ve fiziksel şiddet üzerine temellendiği; zorbalığa maruz kalan karakterlerin genellikle akıllı, zeki, çalışkan ve dürüst kimseler olduğu tespitedilmiştir. Ayrıca incelenen kitaplarda zorba karakterlerin neredeyse tamamınınerkek olduğu, kurbanların yaşadıkları çatışmaları genellikle şiddete meylederekçözmeye çalıştıkları belirlenmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Akran zorbal

  A Comparison of Preschool Children's Vocabulary and Corpus-Based Frequency Lists

  The aim of this study, comparing 60 months and older pre-schoolers’ first most frequently used 1000 words with various corpus-based lists, is to reveal the extent to which the words used by preschool children in the language acquisition process differ from these lists. To determine the vocabulary levels of the children, interactive reading method was applied for eight weeks, any vocabulary produced by the children was recorded, a word pool was created, and thus a frequency list was obtained. In the study in which a holistic multi-case design was used, the frequency list of preschool children and the first 1000 words of A Frequency Dictionary of Turkish, which is a general corpus, the first 1000 words of Target Word List, the first 1000 words of a children's book, the first 1000 words of 1st grade Turkish textbooks, and the first 1000 words of primary school students were compared. As a result, the rate of differentiation between the first 1000 words of preschool children and the first 1000 words of the A Frequency Dictionary of Turkish, and the first 1000 words of the 1st Grade Turkish Book was found to be quite high while it was seen that there was less differentiation between the Target Word List, children's books, and the first 1000 words of primary school students.

  Mu’înü’l Mürîd’de İsimden İsim Yapma Ekleri

  Bu çalışmada 13 ve 14. yüzyıllarda Türkistan’da (Orta Asya) bilim ve edebiyat dili\rolan Harezm Türkçesine ait dil özelliklerini içinde barındıran ve 1313 tarihinde\rİslâm tarafından yazılmış Mu’înü’l Mürîd adlı eserde isimden isim yapma ekleri\rincelenmiştir. 407 dörtlükten oluşan ve dinî-tasavvufî öğretilerin yer aldığı eserde\risimden isim yapma ekleri fişleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiş ve tasnif edilerek\ryorumlanmış, çalışma sonunda bazı sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Harezm Türkçesi, İslam\rdinine yönelen Türklerin yeni kavramları karşılamada ve dinî öğretileri insanlara en\rsade şekliyle anlatmada büyük bir görev üstlenmiş ve bunu Türkçenin ifade gücüyle\rortaya koymuş bir dönemdir. Bu dönem, Oğuzların ve Kıpçakların tam manasıyla\rdil ve coğrafya olarak keskin bir ayrıma gitmediği bir dönemi kapsaması, eklerin ve\rkelimelerin belirlenerek günümüz kullanımlarına ve geçmiş şekillerine kaynaklık\retmesi bakımından yine büyük bir önem taşımaktadır. Eserdeki tüm isimden\risim yapma eklerinin kullanıldığı şekiller tespit edilerek çeşitli karşılaştırmalarda\rbulunmak ve bu eklerin benzerliklerini/farklılıklarını ortaya koyarak Türkçenin hâlâ\rtartışılmakta olan konularından yapım eklerine, eserde işlendiği şekliyle farklı bir\rbakış açısı sunabilmek; Harezm Türkçesinde kullanılan eklerin bugünkü şekillerini\ryapı ve işlev yönünden karşılaştırarak o dönem özellikleriyle çeşitli kıyaslamalarda\rbulunmak ve Türkçenin ekler vasıtasıyla ortaya koyduğu anlatım tarzını ve işler\rhâlini ortaya koymak hedeflenmiştir

  Investigating the Texts in Turkish, Kazakh Literature, Russian Language and Literature Course Books Lectured in the 5th Grade in Turkey and Kazakhstan in Terms of Values

  The purpose of this research was to determine the values conveyed by the texts in Ministry of National Education’s Turkish course book and Kazakh Literature and Russian Language and Literature course books lectured at the 5th grade as being approved by Kazakhstan Education and Science Ministry, to reveal what type of a person was required to be trained, and to specify the deficiencies and most importantly, to offer suggestions related to the solutions of these deficiencies. In the study, all the texts in the course books were analyzed, and sample quotations related to the sentences indicating the values were included. 33 values were obtained from the Related course books. from At the end of the research, different values possible to be collected under four main titles in the course books were obtained. These values were gathered under four main titles including the individual, national, universal and religious values. Qualitative research method was used in the research. Although there were studies carried out on investigating the course books in terms of values in the literature, investigating the course books at Kazakhstan secondary education grade and comparing these with the same Turkish course books in Turkey was not previously carried out. In this respect, this study was remarkable.
