Yelgin, Cetin; Geylan, Asli
Conflict is as natural a phenomenon as harmony in social relations. In all industries, especially those prioritizing collaborative teamwork, it is clear that effective conflict management is critical to sustaining positive employee relationships. With this study, we set out to investigate the impact of workplace conflicts on employee innovation. For this purpose, data were collected from employees through a survey conducted in the aviation industry in Turkey, and 393 responses were received. Structural Equation Modeling was used for hypothesis testing. The study revealed that conflict with colleagues has a detrimental impact on both innovative behaviors and work engagement. Work engagement was identified as a complete mediator in the relationship between conflict and innovative behaviors. Furthermore, a proactive personality was found to moderate the influence of conflict on innovative behaviors, also playing a significant role in the indirect relationship among these variables. The research concludes with practical recommendations for managers and suggestions to researchers for future studies.

Yavuz, Selahattin; Betul Esen, Sefika
Adopting Agenda 2030, the UN issued a set of sustainable development report consisting of 17 goals. The indices created by these goals are beneficial in defining the position of a particular country across the years; however, it is relatively complex to compare its position to other countries. This is not just because it requires an extensive analysis but also because the weight of each goal must be different. It is hard to determine which goal is more important than the others, as it differs from one specialist to another. Then how should we determine the goal weights without falling into the trap of subjective suggestions? That is our question for this research paper. Therefore, we use the multiple-criteria decision-making approach (MCDM) in order to characterise each country's position more accurately. Doing so, we get diverse weights instead of just using the SDGs' arithmetical averages. Therefore, our findings show slightly different rankings than the UN's SDG report 2022.

Hancığaz, Erhan; Hülür, Hımmet
We can say that television still plays an important role in the area of visual media. TV series, commercials and entertainment programs occupy a large place in the daily life of viewers. In particular, the perception, attitude and, accordingly, attitude change in viewers resulting from television series is a phenomenon that gives rise to curiosity in researchers. Therefore, this study aims to measure the level of perception about Turkey and Turkish people in viewers created by Turkish TV series broadcast abroad. The main claim of our research is that Turkish TV series can lead to a country and nation perception in viewers, while the viewers might develop an interest in and affinity with Turkey and Turkish people. In the framework of these arguments, a fieldwork was conducted in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jordan and Kyrgyzstan, which was the research universe of the present study. In the light of the data obtained, the perceptions of the viewers about the personality traits of Turkish people, their perceptions of Turkey's power, life in Turkey and Turkey's active role were influential on the wish to have an affinity with Turkey. Increased interest in Turkey was found to have resulted in increased wish to have an affinity with Turkish people and Turkey.

Doru, Serkan; Yazar, Ahmet; Yildirim, Burak
Postmodernism has affected institutions and systems with its rejection of traditional, macro, and hierarchical approaches. Accordingly, it has also affected the structuring of public administration by popularising two new concepts: new public management (NPM) and digital age governance (DAG). Public administration systems have sought to escape the rigid confines of modernism with the understanding of NPM, which has evolved into a system in which governance is strengthened together with an understanding of DAG. In this sense, data-based digital governance approaches are being adopted in the postmodernist era, and states, citizens, and the private sector actively participate in digital platforms. Information and communication technologies have become increasingly important for countries in the framework of DAG. Along these lines, the European Commission publishes its Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) Report every year to evaluate the digital transformation performance of EU countries. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of postmodernism on public administration through NPM and DAG and to evaluate the digital governance performances of EU countries in the postmodern era using the entropy and MABAC methods. The dataset used in this research consists of 5 sub-criteria of the Digital Public Service (DPS) criterion included in the 2022 DESI Report. As a result of this analysis, the sub-criterion with the highest importance is found to be ‘Digital Public Services for Business’, while the sub-criterion with the least importance is ‘Pre-Filled Forms’. It is seen that the EU countries with the strongest performance according to the DPS criterion are Estonia, the Netherlands, and Finland, respectively.

Koçak, Daimi
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between employee advocacy and psychological well-being (PWB), and to test the mediating effect of perceived insider status (PIS), and moderating effect of power distance on that relationship within the framework of social exchange theory. Data were collected using a questionnaire survey method from 293 full-time employees working in an organization operating in the aviation industry in Turkey. The data obtained were analyzed according to the moderated mediation (alternatively known as condational indirect effect) framework improved by Preacher et al. (2007). Research findings are demonstrated that the relationship between employee advocacy and PWB is more complex than was prior researchers' findings. As a result of analyzes, it was determined that PIS has a partial mediation effect on the relationship between employee advocacy and PWB. Also the results supported the moderated mediation and showed that the positive indirect effect of employee advocacy on PWB through PIS was stronger for employees with low power distance perception. The theoretical and practical implications of findings are discussed.
