Yavuz, Selahattin; Aka, Salih
Food manufacturing sectors have sensitive and complex production processes due to the use of perishable products, labor-intensive production infrastructure, and hygiene requirements. Factors threatening occupational health and safety, such as chemicals used to reduce contamination and infection risks during product preparation, processing, and handling, irregular working environments, the use of cutting mechanical tools, and insufficient protective equipment, can cause disruptions to production schedules and imbalances in production. Non-ergonomic work arrangements reduce overall production performance, while work accidents resulting from occupational health and safety risks disrupt workforce continuity. In manufacturing environments where occupational health and safety risks are high, decreased capacity utilization rates, production plan revisions, and order delays become inevitable. This study aims to identify occupational health and safety risk factors that may lead to revisions in production management plans in food manufacturing and to reveal the relationship between these risk factors. In this study, occupational health and safety factors are examined from the perspective of production and ergonomics, and the cause-and-effect relationship between the factors is investigated. Considering the qualitative and uncertain nature of the factors, fuzzy DEMATEL was chosen as the analysis method. The findings indicate that risks arising from protective equipment shortages and a disorganized workplace have direct impacts on the emergence of all other risks.

Feminist politics is in a constant state of motion within itself and has undergone significant argument changes in different periods. While the first wave feminism brought the demands for rights and equality to the fore, the second wave feminism expressed the need to put an end to the long-standing distinction between private and public spheres. Third-wave feminism, on the other hand, argued that women were not dominated in one way, but were exposed to different forms of domination, and discussed this discourse on the axis of the concept of intersectionality. In this study, the response of the second wave feminism to the public-private dichotomy of the private is political discourse on urban public spaces is discussed in the context of the intersectionality concept introduced by third wave feminism. The main argument of the study is that there are still many obstacles to the experience of women in the urban public sphere, however, women at the intersection of different domination and discrimination are more exposed to these obstacles and limitations. In this context, after the theoretical discussions on intersectionality and the dichotomy of private/public space in this study, the ways in which women, whose domination and exclusion intersect in many areas due to reasons such as class belonging, ethnicity, and belief, cannot be included in the urban public space are presented by discussing concrete examples.
