In this study, it is aimed to examine logistic village applications and projects in Turkey, and then a new proposal to construct a logistic village in Trabzon is requested. In this context, by making a literature review on logistic villages which are organized and in the process of project Trabzon city's position in the national and international transportation system was determined in the light of the results obtained via our own observations, literature and statistical information. Our observations show that the issue of logistic village is relatively new in Turkey's agenda, and efforts on this issue are mainly limited to the studies of public sector and TCDD (Turkish State Railways). TCDD's being the only owner of 12 of 15 logistic villages which are in the process of instruction and operation clarifies this reality. In addition, a public institution's being the sole responsible agency on this matter is a significant problem. On the other hand, Trabzon proposed as being evaluated under the authority of logistic village application by us is the most important logistic centre of Eastern Black Sea Region. In a near future, its importance would be fortified with the completion of railway connection. However, logistic services are still performed in different places which lack of a concrete planning within city residential areas; this situation would bring a wide range of problems. Therefore, it would be helpful to construct a logistic village in Trabzon which considers the use of urban land, the current transportation services, the port and the railway line which will be constructed.

Human being is in interaction with the place on which he lives. This interaction appears, in the way that environmental conditions determine and direct human life, human gives his environment a shape and predispose it in favour of himself. Environmental conditions have long had a significant impacts on human varying from dietary forms to wearings, daily behavioral forms to habitats, beliefs forms to art and culture, in various way. Proverbs are non-materialistic cultural documents that human has brought out with his experiences in the course of interaction of human with his environment. In the proverbs, the truths of which are approved by society, in which recommendations and messages are processed, the main target is simplifying comprehension, keeping permanence, affecting listeners and telling more with less. The proverbs used in all over the world concist of universal messages for human, whereas a great part are limited to local. Initial usage and transfer through generations are possible with long observations and experiences. These observations and experiences may be weathering events such as rain, heat, wind or natural marks such as mountain, hill, tree, water, or a human activity. In some proverbs, while the event is told directly, there is a deep meaning in statement. In our study, the proverbs of Erzincan and its surroundings are analyzed as to their geographical features.

Lake tourism is improving rapidly in the world and in Turkey. Aim of this study was to investigate the tourism potential of the Hafik Lake and its around, one of the rare gypsums karst lakes, and to contribute touristic improvement. As sources of the data, beside documental information, land'observation results, we did in the field in different times of year, were benefited. According to our findings, The Hafik Lake and near Lota lakes enables many recreation activities such as water sports, fishing, hunting, ornitology, camping, picnic, walking and resting. Its'closeness to the Sivas's centrum and its restricted tourism possibilities increased local publics' interest to the lake. However, to evaluate the Lake Hafik as a touristic place was nothing done up to now.

Bu barışmada Türkiye'nin Dünya Mirası Listesi'ndeki yeri incelenmekte ve listeye yeni bir aday önerilmektedir. Öncelikli olarak Dünya Mirası Komitesi tarafından hazırlanan kriterler üzerinde durulmuş, Türkiye'nin dünya mirası varlıkları ve bu konuda yürütülen yeni çalışmalar gözden geçirilmiştir/Ardından yöreye yapılan gezilerden elde edilen bilgi ve veriler ışığında Gelibolu Yarımadası Tarihî Millî Parkı'nm kültür varlıkları incelenmiştir. Çanakkale Savaşı'na sahne olan millî park; doğal ortamı, savaş kalıntıları, mezarlıkları, anıtları, kitabeleri, savaş öncesi dönemlerden kalma tarihî yapıları ve özellikle de misyonuyla özgün bir kültür varlığımızdır. Dolayısıyla millî parkın dünya mirası listesine alınması gerek ülkemiz, gerekse insanlık için büyük bir kazanç olacaktır.
