Özet

The aim of this study is to identify how Alevism-Bektashism reverberated to the Turkish education system within the framework of the education programs and textbooks. Accordingly, in our research, the education programs and books of the courses taught in Primary and Secondary Schools are evaluated in terms of content. A descriptive approach is used for identifying the level and the way of handling Haci Bektas Veli and Bektashism. The scope of the research was previously printed by primary and secondary school programs, Ministry of National Education and some private publishing houses and textbooks for primary and secondary school, distributed by Ministry of National Education in the 2009-2010 school years. It is seen that there were a touch of subject about Haci Bektas Veli and Bektashism in the 9 of 34 textbook and 7 of 10 programs which have been scanned. It was determined that the information were generally found in religious and ethnic textbook; but they were not given relevant place in the textbooks and programs such as Turkish, social studies, folk culture, philosophy, history, sociology, and Turkish Literature. Consequently, it is observed that little information is, more or less, enshrined in the textbooks under various categories related to Haci Bektas Veli and Bektashism. It is observed that in the subject discussions, such inadequacies and deficiencies as the alignment with the program, preparatory studies, scientific content, language, narration and genre, visual order are observed.
